RE:QWEST CORPORATION ADVICE 03-03-N TO INCREASE THE
FEDERAL LIFELINE CREDIT ACCORDING TO THE FCC MAG
PROGRAM, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2003
Qwest Corporation filed this Tariff Advice to increase the Federal Lifeline credit from
$6.00 to $6.50 to comply with the FCC's MAG order. This is the portion of the Federal Lifeline
credit that reimburses qualified customers for the Federal Subscriber Line Charge. The increased
Subscriber Line Charge will increase the total credit to ITSAP customers from $13.00 to $13.
but the increase will occur on the Federal side and will not affect the Idaho ITSAP credit.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of this Tariff Advice effective July 1 , 2003. Does the
Commission agree?
