QWEST CORPORATION
ARBITRATION
AND LEVEL COMMUNICA TIONS
This Case No. QWE-05-11 was filed by Level 3 Communications requesting
arbitration of an Interconnection Agreement with Qwest Corporation. The last entry in the case
is Order No. 29991 vacating a procedural schedule issued by the Commission on Level 3'
Motion. The Order was issued approximately two years ago, and also directed the parties to
agree upon a new procedural schedule and submit it to the Commission. No procedural schedule
was ever submitted to the Commission.
On March 5 , 2008, Qwest Corporation filed a letter with the Commission stating
Qwest has no objection to the case being closed. Staff notified Level 3 that Staff would
recommend the Commission close the case unless Level 3 stated an objection. By letter dated
March 19, 2008 , Level 3 advised Staff that the Company has no objection to the Commission
dismissing Case No. QWE-05-11.
Staff recommends that the Commission issue a Minute Order dismissing Case No.
QWE-05-11.
