RE:QWEST ADVICE NO. 02-26-N TO REDUCE THE UNIVERSAL SERVICE
FUND SURCHARGE PER ORDER NO. 29101, EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1,
2002
Qwest has filed this tariff advice to reflect the change in rates in northern Idaho for the
Idaho Universal Service Fund surcharge to comply with Commission Order No. 29101. This
order decreased the surcharge rates from $0.10 per line per month to $0.08 per line per month for
residential lines and $0.15 per line per month to $0.13 per line per month for business lines.
Qwest advises that its customers have been billed the correct rate since October 1 , 2002.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Inasmuch as this revision is to reflect compliance with Commission order, Staff
recommends approval effective October 2002. Does the Commission agree?
