A portion of the federal Lifeline Credit is equal to the Subscriber Line Charge in order to offset that charge for qualifying customers. The federal Subscriber Line Charge has increased from $5.00 to $6.00 per month, and the Lifeline credit has increased correspondingly. Additionally, Qwest made revisions and clarifications to the ITSAP tariff in accordance with Staff s request. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends that the Commission approve these tariff advices with an effective date of July 1 , 2002, to comply with FCC order.
