IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION

MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING

June 8, 2023 – 1:30 P.M.

In attendance was Commissioner Eric Anderson and Commissioner Edward Lodge. Commissioner John
R. Hammond, Jr. participated via telephone. Commissioner Anderson called the meeting to order.

The first order of business was CONSENT AGENDA:
1. Action Item: Chris Burdin’s June 8, 2023, Decision Memorandum re: In the Matter of Idaho
Power Company’s Application for Authority to Increase Its Rates and Charges for Electric Service
in the State of Idaho and for Associated Regulatory Accounting Treatment; Case No. IPC-E-23-11.
2. Action Item: Claire Sharp’s June 8, 2023, Decision Memorandum re: In the Matter of Idaho
Power Company’s Application for Authority to Implement Power Cost Adjustment (PCA) Rates
for Electric Service from June 1, 2023, through May 31, 2024; Case No. IPC-E-23-12.
3. Action Item: Michael Duval’s June 8, 2023, Decision Memorandum re: In the Matter of the
Application for Approval of the Asset Transfer Agreement Between Rocky Mountain Power and
the City of Idaho Falls – Pioneer Road; Case No. PAC-E-23-15.
Commissioner Anderson made a motion to approve Staff’s recommendations for Items 1, 2 and 3 under
the Consent Agenda. A vote was taken on the motion and it carried unanimously.
The next order of business was MATTERS IN PROGRESS:
4. Action Item: Dayn Hardie’s June 8, 2023, Decision Memorandum re: In the Matter of
Intermountain Gas Company’s Tariff Advice No. 23-02; Case No. INT-G-23-01.
Mr. Hardie presented the Decision Memorandum and asked if the Commission wished to amend the
public comment deadline to June 26, 2023, and the Company reply deadline to July 7, 2023.
Commissioner Anderson made a motion to issue a notice to amend the public comment deadline to June
26, 2023, and the company reply deadline to July 7, 2023. A vote was taken on the motion and it carried
unanimously.
Commission Anderson stated there was no further business before the Commission and the meeting was
adjourned.
