HomeMy WebLinkAbout20230509MIN.pdf IDAHO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION MINUTES OF DECISION MEETING May 9, 2023 – 1:30 P.M. In attendance was Commissioner John R. Hammond, Jr. and Commissioner Edward Lodge. Commissioner Eric Anderson was absent. Commissioner Hammond called the meeting to order. The first order of business was APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM THE PREVIOUS MEETING on May 2, 2023. The Commission voted unanimously to approve the minutes as written. The next order of business was CONSENT AGENDA: 2. Action Item: Michael Duval’s May 9, 2023, Decision Memorandum re: In the Matter of Idaho Power Company’s Application for Participation in the Western Resource Adequacy Program; Case No. IPC-E-23-08. 3. Action Item: Travis Culberton and Dayn Hardie’s May 9, 2023, Decision Memorandum re: In the Matter of the Application of Veolia Water Idaho Inc. for Authority to Increase Its Rates and Charges for Water Service in the State of Idaho; Case No. VEO-W-22-02. 4. Action Item: Claire Sharp’s May 9, 2023, Decision Memorandum re: In the Matter of Gem State Water Company’s Application for Approval of Acquisition of the Assets of the Water Business of Valiant Idaho, LLC; Case No. GSW-W-23-01. 5. Action Item: Claire Sharp’s May 9, 2023, Decision Memorandum re: In the Matter of Intermountain Gas Company’s Application for Authority to Increase Its Rates and Charges for Natural Gas Service in the State of Idaho; Case No. INT-G-22-07. Commissioner Hammond made a motion to approve Staff’s recommendations for Items 2, 3, 4 and 5 under the Consent Agenda. A vote was taken on the motion and it carried unanimously. The next order of business was FULLY SUBMITTED MATTERS: 6. Deliberation Memorandum re: In the Matter of Rocky Mountain Power’s Application for Authority to Implement the Residential Rate Modernization Plan; Case No. PAC-E-22-15 [Claire Sharp, Attorney]. 7. Deliberation Memorandum re: In the Matter of Rocky Mountain Power’s Application for a Prudency Determination on Demand Side Management Expenditures; Case No. PAC-E-22-12 [Dayn Hardie, Attorney]. Commissioner Hammond stated that Items 6 and 7 under Fully Submitted Matters would be deliberated privately.
