Monthly Income Limits and 3-Month Income Limits are provide as a quick reference tool; these totals cannot exceed the Annual Income Limits. CSBG – Community Services Block Grant Eligible activities include employment training, job readiness education, education assistance, emergency services including food, medical, clothing and shelter assistance, family development information, health assistance, youth programs and referral to other service organizations TEFAP – The Emergency Food Assistance Program Eligible activities include distribution of US Department of Agriculture food commodities. LIHEAP - Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program Eligible activities include cash assistance with home heating costs, emergency assistance to participants who may be threatened due to lack of heat in their home. Households that receive food stamps may have their application taken over the telephone. The program is currently available November 1. WX– Weatherization Assistance Program The installed measures may include insulation of walls, ceilings and floors; infiltration materials; repair or replacement of heating systems, hot water units, windows and doors and measures addressing the participant's health and safety. Measures may vary by county. ITSAP – Idaho Telecommunications Service Assistance Program Eligible activities include assistance with monthly costs for the primary residental telephone service. Apply by contacting your telephone provider. Documentation needed at time of Energy Assistance appointment *Names/birthdates for all household members *Citizenship Alien verification. At least one household member must be a citizen or legal resident of the United States *Heating/Energy Vendor Name/Account number (utility bill) *Wastewater Vendor Name/Account number (If not arealdy included with water bill) *Drinking water Vendor Name/Account number (If not already included with sewer bill) *Verification of residential address (utility bill) *Income verification for the previous month (check stubs, SS/SSI award letters, etc) *Self-employment and seasonal workers are required to provide previous 12 months of income or tax forms. *Unemployment: If you have been receiving unemployment, verification showing history and benefit amounts received (if applicable) must be provided from the Idaho Department of Labor or from the state receiving benefits from.
