Preparer/Sponsoring Witness: Cary REQUEST NO. 148:
Please provide any studies in the Company's possession, or any studies the Company has
reviewed, on the water consumption of low-income customers.
RESPONSE NO. 148:
The Company does not attempt to identify and quantify which of its customers are low
income, and has not reviewed nor has possession of studies performed on the consumption of
low-income customers.
Please see the response to Request No. 125 for three years of consumption history for
customers receiving financial assistance through the Veolia Cares.
The Veolia Cares program for low income assistance is administered by El-Ada
Community Action Partnership (El-Ada). Customers who qualify with El-Ada for low-income
financial assistance will receive a specific adjustment credit applied by Veolia on their water

VEOLIA WATER IDAHO, INC. CASE VEO-W-22-02 FOURTH PRODUCTION REQUEST OF THE COMMISSION STAFF
Preparer/Sponsoring Witness: Cary/Njuguna REQUEST NO. 150:
Please provide an update to the Company's revenue requirement model with actual
expenses, rate base, etc. through December 31, 2022.
RESPONSE NO. 150:
Attachment 1A includes a revision for Adjustment No 16 - Vehicle Allocation which
corrects the Adjusted Historic Test Year expense from $557,581 to $780,610 due to a revision of
the reserve exclusion from ($329,806) to ($106,777). Rather than excluding only the IBNR
reserve entries which are based on estimated costs, the adjustment also incorrectly excluded
injuries & damage reserves, which are based on actual costs and should be included in the
expense. The “as filed” and “revised” schedules with the operating expense summaries are
included for reference.
Please see Attachment 1B for the most current, revised and updated Operating Summary
and Adjustment Schedules reflecting actuals as of December 31, 2022.
Please see Attachment 2 for the Rate Base reflecting actuals through December 31, 2022
and 3 months projections from January 2023 to March 2023.
Please see Attachment 3 for the Revenue Requirement reflecting actuals as of December
31, 2022.
