Dear Krs:.
Ths letter is to memorie our discussions regadig Commssion Order No. 31029, by which
intervenor fudig was awarded to CAPAI in the amount of $5,478.75. United Water, of course,
wi prompdy pay ths amount.
As we have discussed, however, the intervenor fudig Order requies that the amount paid be
recovered from the residenti customer class. If we assume that customers with a % inch meter
were a proxy for a residenti class, it would be very difficult to adjust the rate for that meter size,
given the relatively sma amount of money involved.
Accordigly, after discussion, al pares have agreed that a reasonable solution is for United Water
to add the awarded intervenor fudig to its rate case expense to be deferred and amorted though
its general revenue requiement, as authoried by Order No. 31016.
Kidly advise if you believe our agreement requies fuer Commssion action.
Very Truy Yours,
McDevitt & Mier ii
