If so, please explain why that option was either rejected or accepted. RESPONSE NO. 33: United Water (corporate-wide) is currently evaluating an electronic bill presentment and an electronic payment option via the company website as part of a corporate-wide website enhancement project. These services are currently in the scope of the website enhancement project. A vendor has been chosen and the business case is being prepared , including cost evaluation. Assuming the project proceeds according to schedule , the new website, along with these options , should be ready for customer use by year-end 2006 or early 2007. billing is another option that is currently under consideration for development. This option allows a customer to be billed over the web. This service is currently being evaluated with our billing services vendor. No time-line for the e-billing option has yet been determined. RESPONSE NO. 35: As of month-end March 2006 , the data on "UW Cares , the United Water low- income assistance program implemented in September 2005, is as follows: 82 customers assisted 899.45 paid on customer accounts $421.00 in customer donations received The Company will match customer donations up to $20 000 annually. The Company has incurred $2 189 in costs for 250 indoor water saver kits , which are available for installation in customer s homes by EI-Ada Community Action Agency.
