NOTICE OF APPLICATION
YOU AR HEREBY NOTIIED tht on Janua 13, 2010, Muray Water Works
Systems ("Muray" or "Company") fied an Applicaton requestig authority from the
Commssion to increase its. rates and charges for water servce. The Application included, as
attachments, a copy of the Company's 2008 Anual Report and copies of water bils from other
water companes operating in the nearby area, includig the EaS Shoshone Water Distrct. The
Application did not include an effective date for the proposed increase in rates and charges.

YOU AR FUTHER NOTIFIED that the Company's Application states that cert
capita improvements (e.g., new water meters) are needed in order to isolate water leakage and
control sumer water usage. The Company clais tht a general increase in rates and charges is.
needed in order to invest in machiery and maitai the system.
YOU AR FUTHER NOTIFIED that Muray estates that it ha invested $15,000

approximately 72 miles' east of Coeur d Alene, Idaho).
YOU AR FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Applicat made the followig requests
regardig rate design and strctue:
1. Schedule 1 and Schedule 3 - Rates for residential water use to be
increased from $26 per month to $4 er month. . Rates for commercial.
customers to be increased from 24 per month for all commercial.
customers to $60 per month for a 1" se 'ce line and to $75 per month for
a 2" servce line. The Company is also asng for an increase in hookup
fees from $800 to $2,000 plus pars and abor; and a new charge of $5.00
monthy charge for iÍaètive customers.
