The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission requests that Morning View Water
Company (Morning View; Company) provide the following documents and information as soon
as possible, by THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3,2019.
This Production Request is continuing, and the Company is requested to provide, by way
of supplementary responses, additional documents that it or any person acting on its behalf may
later obtain that will augment the documents produced.
Please provide answers to each question, supporting workpapers that provide detail or are
the source of information used in calculations. The Company is reminded that responses
pursuant to Commission Rules of Procedure must include the name and phone number of the
person preparing the document, and the name, location and phone number of the record holder
and if different the witness who can sponsor the answer at hearing if need be. Reference IDAPA
31.01.01.228.

In addition to the written copies provided as response to the questions, please provide all
Excel and electronic files on CD with formulas activated.
REQUEST NO. 5: Please provide monthly consumption data for each customer from
January 2016 through the most recent billing period. Please specify the unit of measure (e.g.,
gallons, CCF). (Meter read logs would be appropriate. If included please include a table
showing which meter id# goes with each customer.)
REQUEST NO. 6: Please provide copies of the monthly electric service billing
statements for each system pump from January 2016 through the most recent billing period.
REQUEST NO. 7: What is the current (initial) connection charge for a new customer?
Is the Company proposing to change the connection charge? If the Company is proposing a
change, please describe the cost basis for this change.
REQUEST NO. 8: Please provide the cost of a new meter.
REQUEST NO. 9: On average, how much time is required to install a meter for a new
customer, including driving time? Is the installation work performed by just one person? If not,
please state how many.
