The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission requests that Morning View Water
Company (Morning View; Company) provide the following documents and information as soon
as possible, by WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21,2019.
This Production Request is continuing, and the Company is requested to provide, by way
of supplementary responses, additional documents that it or any person acting on its behalf may
later obtain that will augment the documents produced.
Please provide answers to each question, supporting workpapers that provide detail or are
the source of information used in calculations. The Company is reminded that responses
pursuant to Commission Rules of Procedure must include the name and phone number of the
person preparing the document, and the name, location and phone number of the record holder
and if different the witness who can sponsor the answer at hearing if need be. Reference IDAPA
31.01.01.228.

In addition to the written copies provided as response to the questions, please provide all
Excel and electronic files on CD with formulas activated.
REQUEST NO. 1: Please provide a system map showing the location and elevation of
major equipment including wells, pipes, storage tanks, booster pumps, shut-off valves, system
meters, fire hydrants, and water treatment equipment. Clearly identify all equipment and any
recent system changes. Please include the following information:
a. The make, model, and rating of each well pump.
b. The depth of each submersible well pump.
c. The make, model, and rating of each well pump motor.
d. The make, model, capacity, and limit switch settings of each pressurized storage tank.
e. The make, model, capacity, and limit switch settings of each unpressurized storage
tank/reservoir.
f. The make, model, and rating of each booster pump.
g. The make, model, and capacity of all water treatment equipment.
REQUEST NO.2: For each well used by the water system, please provide the
following:
a. The Idaho Department of Water Resources Well Tag Number (D-Tag Number)
currently on-file with IDWR.
b. Location (Township, Range, Section, and Tract).
c. The well log.
REQUEST NO.3: Please provide a narrative and any documentation supporting any
claims filed against contractors or any other parties related to the 2016 flood.

REQUEST NO. 4: Please provide a list of all water quality tests for the water sources
(wells) and the tests within the distribution system as required by the Idaho Department of
Environmental Quality. For each type of test, please indicate the frequency and total cost per
test. (For example, "Well #1, arsenic test, every three years, $21 per test." Then provide
additional test information in the same format for this and other water sources.)
