Please explain why or why not. Application at 4. Response: The capacity of the well is limited to the draw down on the water level when being pumped. The 1,500 GPM was the minimum GPM the Company hoped to achieve. In fact, the well was test pumped and was rated to have a maximum of 2,500 GPM. This will further assist in meeting the DEQ requirements. Currently, Well 9 has a rated capacity of 3,000 GPM. However, due to sand production from the well, it can currently only produce 2,700 GPM and not pump sand into the distribution system. The wellhouse was not designed with room for sand separators. The storage tank project would allow Well 9 to supply the tank and any sand pumped would settle in the tank.
