The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, by and through its attorney of record,
Daphne Huang, Deputy Attorney General, requests that Diamond Bar Water Company
(Diamond Bar; Company) provide the following documents and information as soon as possible,
but no later than WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 20,2016.
This Production Request is to be considered as continuing, and Diamond Bar Water
Company is requested to provide, by way of supplementary responses, additional documents that
it or any person acting on its behalf may later obtain that will augment the documents produced.
For each item, please indicate the name of the person(s) preparing the answers, along
with the job title of such person(s) and the witness who can sponsor the answer at hearing.
FIRST PRODUCTION REQUEST
TO DIAMOND BAR V/ATER DECEMBER 30,2015
REQUEST NO. 1: Please provide a listing of plant in service items totaling $48,388 as
identified in Exhibit 1. Please include account number, dates placed in service, and the expected
depreciable life of each item.
REQUEST NO. 2: Please provide the general ledger reports for the income statements
for 2013, 2014 and 2015. Please submit this in PDF as well as Excel format if possible.
REQUEST NO. 3: Please provide documentation explaining the source of the other
income totaling $642 identified on line 3 of Exhibit 2. Please explain if this income will be
recurring in future years.
REQUEST NO. 4: Please provide a schedule estimating the number of hours provided
by Mr. Turnipseed for the activities included in the adjustment in Column C of Exhibit2 ona
monthly basis. Please break these hours out by each of the activities identified.
REQUEST NO. 5: Please provide a schedule defining the expenses incurred to date
relating to this rate case, and those the Company expects to incur by the end of this case.
REQUEST NO. 6: Please provide an explanation of each cost and provide invoices
supporting these costs due to the pump failures in 2015 as stated in the application.
