The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, by and through its attorney of record
Donovan E. Walker, Deputy Attorney General, requests that Diamond Bar Water Company
(Diamond Bar; Company) provide the following documents and information as soon as possible
but no later than FRIDAY, JULY 13, 2007. IDAPA 31.01.01.225.03.
This Production Request is to be considered as continuing, and Diamond Bar Water
Company is requested to provide, by way of supplementary responses , additional documents that
it or any person acting on its behalf may later obtain that will augment the documents produced.
For each item, please indicate the name of the person(s) preparing the answers, along
with the job title of such person(s) and the witness who can sponsor the answer at hearing.
FIRST PRODUCTION REQUEST
TO DIAMOND BAR WATER JUNE 15 2007
REQUEST NO.1: Please describe how incoming calls from customers to the Company
are handled.
REQUEST NO.2: Please describe how the Company handles inquiries, complaints
payment arrangements, service orders, and other routine customer transactions.
REQUEST NO.3: Please provide the number of customer complaints received by the
Company for calendar year 2006 broken into categories by topics: high bills, disconnection
water quality, etc.
REQUEST NO.4: Please provide the number of non-pay disconnections for calendar
year 2006.
REQUEST NO.5: Please provide the phone number provided to customers for
contacting the Company regarding outages occurring after normal office hours.
REQUEST NO.6: Please list the name and type of services provided by affiliated
businesses that operate at the same location as the water Company s office.
REQUEST NO.7: Please provide the number and the dollar amount of deposits
collected from customers for calendar year 2006.
REQUEST NO.8: Does the Company collect NSF fees for checks received from
customers for payments returned from the bank for non-sufficient funds? If so, what amount is
collected and how many customers were charged in calendar year 2006?
REQUEST NO.9: Does the Company charge customers a late payment fee or interest
on past due amounts? If so, please provide the number of customers so charged and the total
amount collected for calendar year 2006.

consumption for the two most recent years for which such data is available. Ifmeters are not
read monthly and monthly consumption data is not available, please provide the consumption
information for the entire period between the time that meters are read, as well as stating the
duration of the corresponding time period for the consumption data.
REQUEST NO. 12: Please indicate the number of customers billed by the Company
each month for the years 2005 and 2006.
REQUEST NO. 13: Please provide the monthly revenue for water sales received by the
Company during the years 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.
