Subject: Partial Record Drawings - Accepted; Project Abandoned - Well #3; Schweitzer
Village, Acme Water Works
Dear Mr. Wahlin:
Record drawings for Phase I of the water system, prepared on February 15,2010 by Eric
Eldenburg, P.E. representing Acme Water Works for completion of the Schweitzer Village water
system have been reviewed. Schweitzer Village is a new subdivision on Schweitzer Mountain
designed for 260 residences on 107 lots serving approximately 650 people. Drinking water is
provided by Acme Water Works and sewer services are provided by Mountain Utility Company.
Phase I of the project provides service to approximately 40 lots.
The record drawings have been compared to the construction plans and specifications as
approved by DEQ on July 22,2008 and found to be acceptable. The submiual is hereby accepted
by DEQ per Section 39-l l8 (3) of Idaho Code as the record drawings for this project.
With the submittal was a note indicating development of Well #3 has been postponed
indefinitely. If development of the well is pursued in the future, DEQ must be contacted.
Acme Water Works is constructed to serve as a public water system and will need to have a
sanitary survey performed in the future. Panhandle Health District will be providing oversight
for the system and Acme Water Works should contact their office for further information.
