A WS- O7- Dear Commissioners: Enclosed are three copies of the response to the questions and documents requested by your First Production Request. This report has been prepared by Joan Brittain , Bookkeeper (208) 263-8946and Robert Hanson, Water Systems Mgt. Inc. (208) 265-4270. REQUEST NO.1: Idaho Department of Water Resources Water Right Report-Attachment 1, and documents thought pertinent from 60 page report from Water Resources website. The entire report is available upon request. It is shown as Attachmenf2. REQUEST NO.2: When the Northern Adjudication of water rights takes place in 2011we plan to comply with whatever measures are necessary to complete the process. Ifwe have toreapply for water rights, that will be done. REQUEST NO.3: The water provided to our customers is not treated in any way. servIce. REQUEST NO.4: We have no plans to convert our customers from flat rate to metered REQUEST NO.5: Attachment 3 provided by Robert Hanson REQUEST NO.6: No meters will be installed on new service installations. REQUEST NO.7: Because Algoma Water is a small system, we have routineinspections. Leaks are identified by the master meter and immediately repaired. REQUEST NO.8: The maximum number of customers the system can service is 30.We currently have 27 on the system. We do not expect any additional hook ups in the near future. There are currently 21 residential and 6 commercial hookups. REQUEST NO.9: We have no pending issues before the Idaho Department of WaterResources and Environmental Quality. REQUEST NO. 10: Attachment 4 - 5 Sets of plans showing piping, specifications number and size. REQUEST NO. 1~: The system was approved by Department of Environmental Quality without stand by power. We have no plans at this time to do anything more. REQUEST NO. 12: Mr. Carrier owns Algoma Sewer, Cocollalla Sewer and Sunny Shores Sewer systems. REQUEST NO. 13: Algoma Water system is the only water system owned by Mr. Carrier. REQUEST NO. 14: Mr. Carrier has never operated a water system in any other state. REQUEST NO. 15: Attachment 5 - July 31, 2007 Income Statement and Balance Sheet. REQUEST NO. 16: Currently there is no extra money to establish a separate cash reserve. Mr. Carrier has had to make a cash contribution to cover the expensive repair work that was done this past spring. REQUEST NO. 17: Greenwood Utility System consisted of Algoma Water, Algoma Sewer, Cocolalla Sewer, and Sunny Shores Sewer. REQUEST NO. 18: Northern Utilities consists of Algoma Sewer, Cocolalla Sewer, and Sunny Shores Sewer. REQUEST NO. 19: Any delays that occurred in filing for the approval of the sale with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission was the time it took to gather and compile the information that the Commission requested. REQUEST NO. 20: The closing of the sale was April 30, 2007. The Purchase and Sale Documents were enclosed as Attachment "D" in the Application to Sell. REQUEST NO. 21: The difference of $778.91 between 2006 revenue and expected 2007 revenue was a result of Mr. Greenwood purchasing Algoma Water from Chris Neu closing escrow on Feb. 15 , 2006. The year end report for 2006 was for February 15 through Dec. 31 2006. REQUEST NO. 22: There have been no customer complaints received during the period from January 1 2006 to June 30, 2007. Total gallons of water produced over this period was 921 000 gallons. Average monthly usage during this period was 524 765 gallons. Also, attached please find a complete set of "RECORD" drawings for the Algoma Water System that include (REQUEST #10) "a complete breakdown of in-service plant for the entire Algoma water system." The condition ofthe system is "fair" for a system of this age (approximately 25 years). We would anticipate maintenance and repair items to continue to increase over the coming years.
