2 STATING FINDINGS OF THE LEGISLATURE AND REJECTING A CERTAIN RULE OF THE IDAHO
3 PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION RELATING TO THE TELEPHONE CUSTOMER RELA—
4 TIONS RULES.
5 Be It Resolved by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
6 WHEREAS,the Legislature is vested with authority to reject executive
7 agency rules under the provisions of Section 67—5291,Idaho Code,in the
a event that the Legislature finds that the rules are not consistent with leg—
9 islative intent;and
10 WHEREAS,it is the finding of the Legislature that a certain rule of
II the Idaho Public Utilities Commission relating to The Telephone Customer
12 Relations Rules is not consistent with legislative intent and should be re—
13 jected.
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the First Regular Ses—
15 sion of the Sixty—second Idaho Legislature,the Senate and the House of Rep—
16 resentatives concurring therein,that IDAPA 31.41.01,Idaho Public Utili—
17 ties Commission,The Telephone Customer Relations Rules,Section 502,Sub—
18 section 0i.a only,adopted as a pending rule under Docket Number 31—4101—
19 1201,be,and the sane is hereby rejected and declared null,void and of no
20 force and effect.
