Case No. QWE-02-
STF 06-022
INTERVENOR:Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission
REQUEST NO:022
Assuming, arguendo, that Qwest was granted deregulation, if Qwest decided to
change rates for residence or business customers in the seven exchanges in
which they have asked for deregulation, how long would it take to process this
change through the Qwest billing system? Less than 10 days , 11-30 days, 31-
days, greater than 60 days.
An example of such a change would be changing the IFR or IFB rate or the rate
for a package which Qwest offers.
RESPONSE:
The required time to process a change in Qwest I s billing system depends on a
number of factors including the complexity of the change and other billing
changes that are scheduled at the same time in other Qwest states.
