On September 18, 2000, the Idaho Public Utilities Commission reviewed GTE Northwest’s offered to implement an optional Lifeline Program. After fully considering GTE’s stand-alone Lifeline Plan (comparable to the Ohio USA Lifeline Plan in Ameritech’s Case No. 93-487-TP-ALT), the Commission has decided to continue with its existing Lifeline Plan pursuant to Idaho Code §§ 56-901 through 56-904.
