BACKGROUND
On May 24, 2005, Verizon Northwest, Inc. (Verizon) and RCC Holdings, Inc. filed an
Agreement to adopt the current Verizon Northwest, Inc. and Sprint Spectrum L.P. Agreement.
DISCUSSION
The various elements being adopted by RCC are: Reciprocal Compensation Traffic
Transport and Termination Rates; Caged Collocation Rates; Cageless Collocation Rates;
Adjacent Collocation Rates; Virtual Collocation Rates; Dedicated Transit Service Collocation
Rates and Miscellaneous Collocation Rates.
STAFF ANALYSIS
Staff has reviewed the Agreement with exhibits between Verizon and RCC Holdings and
finds them compatible with federal and state guidelines. Moreover, Staff believes that this filing
is consistent with the pro-competitive policies of this Commission, the Idaho Legislature, and the
federal Telecommunications Act of 1996. Accordingly, Staff recommends that the Commission
approve the Agreement.
