RE:IDAHO POWER TARIFF ADVICE NO. 05-03; REVISION TO
SCHEDULE NO. 66.
BACKGROUND
On March 22 2005, the Commission approved Idaho Power Company s request to
implement the Energy Watch, Schedule 4, and Time-of-Day, Schedule 5, Pilot Programs (Case
No. IPC-05-2). Since Schedule 4 and Schedule 5 are alternatives to Schedule 1 , the Company
proposes that the provisions of Schedule 66, paragraphs 7, 8 and 11 apply to Schedules 4 and 5
as they currently do for Schedule
Through this tariff advice, the Company is requesting the Commission approve the
revised Schedule 66, which reflects these changes. As provided by Rule No. 134., the
Company is requesting an effective date of less than 30 days. The Company would like to begin
marketing these programs on April 5 , 2005 and begin enrolling customers as soon as possible
thereafter. The Company is requesting an effective date of April 6 , 2005 to enable the timely
implementation of the programs approved by the Commission.
STAFF ANALYSIS AND RECOMMENDATION
Staff has reviewed the proposed changes that would treat Schedules 4 and 5 like the
current residential Schedule 1. Staff believes this is appropriate and recommends approval of
Tariff Advice No. 05-, revisions to Schedule No. 66.
