UP-RR-99-1 Prior to tonight’s hearing, the Public Utilities Commission has received several written comments concerning the closure of the old grade crossing located on Fontaine Drive. The following commenters recommend that the old grade crossing remain open: The City of Ponderay, the Bonner County Board of Commissioners, the Bonner County Advisory Transportation Team, the Co-Op (Cenex) Country Stores, and Papa Murphy’s. The following commenters have recommended that the old crossing be closed: Union Pacific Railroad, the Idaho Transportation Department, and the Staff of the PUC.
