MINUTE ORDER
In 2006 the Idaho Legislature enacted House Bill 707 which amends Idaho
Sunshine Law" codified at Idaho Code 99 67-6601 et seq. The HB 707 amendments broaden
the registration and reporting requirements for paid lobbyists when they lobby state executive
officials. Idaho Code 9 67-6602(g)(5) defines "executive official" as the members of the Idaho
Public Utilities Commission and the Commission s "executive or chief administrative officer.
To avoid uncertainty, the Commission s Executive Administrator, Ronald Law, is designated as
the Commission s executive administrative officer for purposes of Idaho s Sunshine Law.
ORDER
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that Ronald Law is designated as the Commission
executive administrative officer for purposes of the Sunshine Law. Idaho Code 967-6602(g)(5).
