AFFIDAVIT OF RON LAW



Ron Law, being first duly sworn upon oath, states and deposes as follows:
1.  That he is the Administrator of the Regulated Carrier Division  of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission.
2.  That he is currently in the process of considering the formulation of a vision waiver program to accommodate drivers of motor carriers whose vision does not satisfy the Federal Motor
Carrier Safety Regulations adopted by the Commission in Rule 19 of the Commission’s Motor Carrier Rules.  IDAPA 31.61.01.019.
3.  That he will present his proposed vision waiver program to the Commission for its consideration as soon as it is completed.
4.  That based on the foregoing, he believes that it would be consistent with the public interest to allow Mr. Walter Taylor a temporary vision waiver pending the outcome of the waiver
program.      

5.  Further your affiant saith not.
