On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff, and children we serve,
welcome to our 25th Annual Gala. That’s right, this year we are
celebrating 25 years of 114 years of commitment to this community.
We are so grateful that you are joining us tonight to help raise funds in
support of our mission to provide mental, emotional, and behavioral
healthcare to Idaho’s children and their families.

To accompany your party, Del Taco is bringing its yummy food truck with

7 RAFTING AND WINE TASTING FOR TWO
ON THE BOISE RIVER
Be the guest of captain Tom and first mate Ann on your personalized floating and fishing adventure. As the (4) of you navigate down the Boise
River, they will customize the experience to your preferences. Their vessel is a custom designed, guide model Willy drift boat. Enjoy a basket of your favorite cheeses and charcuterie, as you stop at Telaya Winery for a tasting. Try local beer and fish tacos at Yard Arm, or Italian antipasto at Luciano’s, or music at the Sand Bar; whatever your heart desires. After, you’ll hit the
waves at White Water Park, watch Tom navigate the current, anchor up, and show you how to fish some of his favorite holes which are accessible only by drift boat. No need to get your feet wet - Captain Tom will position you in the best spot and hold you there until you make your best cast. Rods and flies provided.
*Best done in warm weather, when the river is flowing near 2,500 cfs. Late
afternoon is the best time.

of counseling and therapy, raise your paddle!
You have the opportunity to make a direct impact on children’s lives
by making a donation that will support counseling and therapy
sessions. Every $50 that you donate tonight will help provide
therapy sessions. No matter the amount, every donation makes a
real difference.
April, 2019, CHS received an email from Heather Bond, who is a teacher
at Willow Creek Elementary introducing her son, Brayden Bond, a prior
senior at Eagle High. (Now a graduate!) For his senior project Brayden and
some other students took on the task of researching anxiety and
depression in children. Upon completing this project the students decided
to raise money for the Children’s Home Society of Idaho. The group went
to Albertsons on a Sunday, from noon until 6:00 P.M.!! They directed and
encouraged people to visit our donation page and make a contribution.
This amazing team of six were able to raise $509.00!
Due to this inspirational story, at our 2019 Gala, we started the 509 Fund a
Need in honor of Brayden, his family and the Eagle High students. During
our FUND A NEED, we asked people to raise their paddles matching the
$509 contribution made by Brayden and help us continue this tradition.
