Please take a look at the summary I put together below. You’ll notice that there is an opening balance error that’s causing the majority of the variance. Once we take that into account as well as the Medicare Part D accrual from 2019, there’s still a remaining variance of $7,562.56 on the plan that we’re not clear what it’s related to. Are you comfortable with us writing this off along with the other Medicare Part D variance? OCI per Actuary Report OCI per GL - Debit (Credit)Difference IGC Postretirement Plan (1,066,694.00) (431,622.56)(635,071.44) Opening Balance Sheet error: 644,658.00 OCI Variance Outside of Opening Balance Sheet Error: 9,586.56 Medicare Part D - 2019: (2,024.00) Remaining OCI Variance: 7,562.56 Keep in mind that we have worked with our actuary, Principal, and we have implemented processes to ensure that employer contributions used within the actuarial reports tie out to our general ledger and to ensure that Medicare Part D subsidies are accounted for correctly within the actuarial reports going
