HomeMy WebLinkAbout20200313INT to Staff Attach 2 Type A Contract - Single Service Point - Draft.pdf INTERMOUNTAIN GAS COMPANY LINE EXTENSION CONTRACT - TYPE A – SINGLE SERVICE POINT Intermountain Gas Company (hereafter referred to as "Intermountain") and the Applicant(s) described below mutually agree to the terms of this contract dated ______________________. 1. Applicant(s) hereby applies for a gas line extension, (hereafter referred to as the "Project") to be constructed in accordance with Intermountain's General Service Provisions, as described below: PROJECT DESCRIPTION 2. Intermountain's calculated Project Cost Estimate and Allowable Investment for this Project are as follows: Service Cost Main Cost Total Project Cost Service Allowance Main Allowance           3. Intermountain agrees to construct the Project. 4. Applicant(s) agrees to pay Intermountain the Customer Payment amount shown below, which is the difference between the Allowable Investment pursuant to Intermountain's General Service Provisions and the Project Cost Estimate. Such amount shall be paid prior to construction of the Project. Applicant agrees that a natural gas service line will be initiated for the service address shown below and to install the appliances shown below. Service Payment Main Payment Total Customer Payment Appliances to be Installed         5. Applicant(s) agrees to provide additional payment to Intermountain in the amount of $XXX if gas service is not initiated at the service address below within six (6) months of the date the Project is completed. 6. Intermountain shall, at the end of each of the first five (5) twelve (12) month periods following the month in which the Project is completed, determine if any additional service points beyond the service point specified in this contract or used in a previous refund calculation connect to the Project. Intermountain will refund the original Applicant(s) the Allowable Investment for Mains for each additional customer. The total refund will not exceed the Main Payment specified in this contract. The Service Payment is non-refundable. 7. Intermountain reserves the right to cancel this contract if the Applicant(s) defer construction for more than six (6) months from the date of this contract, or has not prepared the locations where the project is to be constructed to a condition sufficient for the Company to begin construction within six (6) months of the date of this contract. 8. No refunds will be made for natural gas service lines initiated after five (5) years from the month in which the Project is completed. 9. Intermountain shall retain all ownership in the Project. 10. This agreement is entered into pursuant to and subject to Intermountain's General Service Provisions in effect and on file with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission. All service rendered by Intermountain shall be in accordance with the rates, rules and regulations promulgated by the Idaho Public Utilities Commission.
