The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, by and through its attorney of record,
Karl T. Klein, Deputy Attorney General, requests that Intermountain Gas Company (Company)
provide the following documents and information as soon as possible, but no later than
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2013.
This Production Request is to be considered as continuing, and the Company is requested
to provide, by way of supplementary responses, additional documents that it or any person acting
on its behalf may later obtain that will augment the documents or information produced.
Please provide answers to each question, supporting workpapers that provide detail or are
the source of information used in calculations, and the name, job title and telephone number of
the person preparing the documents. Please identifu the name, job title, location and telephone
number of the record holder.

In addition to the written copies provided as response to the requests, please provide all
Excel and electronic files on CD with formulas activated.
REQUEST NO. 1: Please describe in detail how the Company determines if existing
custorners are on the correct rate. Please explain how billing audits are conducted and how
frequently those audits are performed.
REQUEST NO. 2: For CY20l2, please provide the number of customers moved to a
different rate schedule, listing both the previous and new rate schedule assigned.
REQUEST NO. 3: Please describe in detail the process used to determine whether a
new customer who places a connect order should be assigned the rate schedule assigned to the
previous customer. If there are scripts followed by call center customer service representatives,
please provide a copy of those scripts.
REQUEST NO. 4: Please describe in detail the procedures in place to ensure that a
customer requesting service at a previously unserved location, e.g., new construction, is assigned
to the correct rate schedule.
REQUEST NO. 5: Please provide copies of or links to information made available to
customers to enable them to choose the most appropriate rate schedule for their customer class
and type ofuse.
