This is the time and place set 6 for Commission hearing in Case No. INT-G-03-1, which 7 is a Notice of Application to hear Intermountain Gas 8 Company's application for its annual gas cost 9 adjustment. The purpose of tonight's hearing is to 10 obtain or take public testimony from members of the 11 public, and as you already know, the Commission had an 12 informal workshop earlier this evening as a forum for 13 interested members of the public to ask questions and 14 get answers; so with that, why don't we start and take 15 the appearances of the parties. For the utility 16 Intermountain Gas. 17 MR. RICHARDS: Mr. Hearing Examiner, 18 Woody Richards, attorney for Intermountain Gas 19 Company, and with me are Mike Huntington, vice 20 president of marketing and external affairs, Mike 21 McGrath, director of market services and regulatory 22 affairs and Terri Shoen, director of customer 23 services. HAMMOND: John Hammond, Deputy 2 Attorney General, representing the Commission Staff. 3 With me are Michael Fuss, Staff engineer, Alden Holm, 4 Staff accountant and Marilyn Parker from the consumer 5 side of the Commission Staff. 6 THE HEARING EXAMINER: Thank you, 7 Mr. Hammond, and I see by the pleadings in this case 8 that there is one intervenor, Mr. Jeffrey Brooks, dba 9 Advanced Energy Strategies. Is Mr. Brooks here 10 tonight? All right, for the record, we'll show that 11 Mr. Brooks is not present at the moment. 12 As the Commission has set out in its 13 Order 29242, the purpose of tonight's hearing is for 14 me to obtain public testimony on Intermountain Gas' 15 application. Are there any preliminary matters to 16 come before the Examiner before we see if there's any 17 public testimony? 18 MR. RICHARDS: No, Mr. Hearing Examiner. 19 MR. HAMMOND: None from the Commission 20 Staff. 21 THE HEARING EXAMINER: All right, and 22 again, for the record, I'd move that Mr. Brooks is not 23 available. I am unaware of any other petitions to 24 intervene in this case. In addition to these three public hearings, 2 the Commission will also take public comment in a 3 number of various forms, including e-mail through the 4 Commission's Website, letters, cards. We also have 5 available tonight forms for people who want to provide 6 comments tonight, and then finally, we have the public 7 testimony portion of tonight's hearing. 8 Mr. Law, is there anyone here? 9 MR. LAW: No one has signed up. 10 THE HEARING EXAMINER: Let me for the 11 record, is there anyone wishing to give public 12 testimony regarding this matter tonight? All right, 13 then, I guess, again for the record, I would note that 14 there are no members of the public here to give public 15 testimony tonight. Are there any further matters that 16 need to come before the Examiner or can we recess 17 at which time we will convene our next session on 18 June the 4th in Idaho Falls at the Idaho Falls Council 19 Chambers at 140 Capital Street. 20 Again, the public workshop will begin at 21 6:00 p.m. and the public hearing will begin at 22 7:00 p.m., and then the following night we will be in 23 Twin Falls at the Twin Falls Council Chambers.
