U-I034-88 NOTICE OF HEAING On May 14, 1980 Intermountain Gas Company filed an application with the Idaho Public Utili ties Conuission seeking a Commission order authorizing Intermountain Gas Company to increase its rates and charges for gas service rendered in the State of Idaho. YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the rate increase proposed by applicant was suspended for a period of 30 days plus five months from June 13, 1980 or until such time as the Commission issued an order in respect thereto, by Commission Order No. 15616. Pursuant to notice, a prehearing conference was held in this matter on June 16, 1980 and the ini tialhearing for taking the Company i s direct case and cross-examination thereon conuencedon August 12, 1980. YOU ARE FURTHR NOTIFIED that by Conuission Order No. 15701 issued on July 21 l 1980, the Petition of Beker Industries requesting a special rate for natural gas used in the production of anhydrous ammonia, initially designated as Case No. U-I034-89, was consolidated with the above entitled Case No. U-1034-88. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Commission has set this matter for public hearing on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 1980 COMMENCING AT 9:30 A.M. IN THE COMMISSION HEARING ROOM, 472 WEST- .-- --.- - ... ..... .. - -- WASHINGTON STREET l BOISE, IDAHO, and continuing thereafter as necessary. This phase of the hearing will be for the purposes of hearing the Staff case, cross-examination thereon, Intervenor cases, cross-examination thereon and Company rebuttal, if any. The testimony and exhibits of Staff and any Intervenors shall be prefiled with all parties by Monday, September 22, 1980. Applicant was put on notice at the prehearing conference that its storage e . and supply situation would be subject to investigation and evaluation. The Staff evaluation of Applicant i s storage and supply situation will not be completed by the final round of hearings scheduled herein. Therefore, it will be filed with the Commission by December 19, 1980. Upon Commission review of that Staff report, Applicant will be notified of further Commission action. YOU AR FURTHER NOTIFIED that parties desiring to formally intervene in the above entitled matter for the purposes of presenting evidence or cross-examining witnesses, should file a Petition to Intervene with the Commission pursuant to the Commission i sRu1es of Practice and Procedure. YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that notices and orders have already been entered in this matter. All parties are and will be bound by the terms of pre-entered notices and orders. Questions and inquirIes concernIng these previously issued notIce and orders may be directed to the Commission Secretary.
