throughout the service territory.

financial planning and analysis, treasury
and trust, risk management and internal
audit.
2.Customer Facing Technology – maintains
customer service quality and reliability for
all systems, tools and technology that
Avista uses to provide its customers
choices that matter to them most.
9.Enterprise Information Management &
Analytics – addresses the performance
and capacity of customer, asset,
geospatial, operational, informational,
imagery, transactional, usage data to
delivery energy choices to customers.
3.Enterprise & Control Network
Infrastructure – maintains performance and
capacity of existing network technology
supporting operational, control and back
office systems.
10.Data Center Compute and Storage
Systems – maintains performance and
capacity of data center compute and
storage for existing systems, including
server operating systems, racks, power
distribution units, backup and recovery
systems.
4.Endpoint Compute and Productivity
Systems – addresses the asset condition
and performance and capacity of personal
computers, tablets, printers, and end user
PC productivity tools.
11.Energy Resources Modernization &
Operational Efficiency – maintains
performance and capacity for technology
such as energy risk management and
trading systems, Gas Forecasting, Work
Management and Generation Plant and
Substation Operations Technology.
5.Land Mobile Radio & Real Time
Communication Systems – maintains
performance and capacity for private two-
way LMR system for field operations and
Real Time Command and Control System
used by Dispatch and System Operations.
12.Environmental Control & Monitoring
Systems – maintains performance and
capacity of systems that manage the
specific operating environment to
prevent physical damage to technology,
such as temperature, humidity, and
power supply voltages.
6.ET Modernization & Operational
Efficiency – Technology – maintains
performance and capacity of technology
systems application implementation and
development, delivery automation,
application operations and support, and
data delivery technology.
13.Human Resources Technology –
maintains and addresses performance
and capacity to support major human
resource business functions, such as
compensation, talent management,
learning management, employee
engagement, and safety and health.
7.Project Atlas – replaces Avista’s Facility
Management system used to manage the
location and current operating status of
electric and gas assets.
14.High Voltage Protection for Substations
(HVP) – responds to the mandatory
requirement to provide high voltage
protection for communication circuits in
high voltage areas, under Tariff FCC
Number 1, Section 13.7.

15. Energy Delivery Modernization – refreshes
the asset condition of major applications,
such as a geospatial platform, enterprise
asset management system, time series
operational data, mobile workforce
management, crew planning and
scheduling, transmission planning, and
metering solutions.

maintains performance and capacity for
the technology solutions to support
legal, environmental affairs, real estate,
claims management, corporate
compliance, FERC compliance,
reliability compliance and ethics
compliance.
16. Enterprise Communication Systems –
maintains performance and capacity of
communication systems and technology
that support employee and customer
communications, such as contact center
auto call distribution, customer interactive
voice response system, telephone and
voicemail systems, electronic mail and
calendar system, enhanced 911 emergency
services.
19. Fiber Network Lease Service
Replacement – maintains the
performance and capacity of fiber optic
cables to transport primarily emergency
and control data.
17. Energy Delivery Operational Efficiency &
Shared Services – maintains performance
and capacity for major applications, such
as a geospatial platform, enterprise asset
management system, time series
operational data, mobile workforce
management, crew planning and
scheduling, transmission planning, and
metering solutions.
