The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission, by and through its attorney of record,
Kristine A. Sasser, Deputy Attorney General, requests that Avista Corporation (Company;
Avista) provide the following documents and information on or before FRIDAY, JULY 25,
2008.

This Production Request is to be considered as continuing, and Avista is requested to
provide, by way of supplementar responses, additional documents that it or any person acting
on its behalf may later obtain that will augment the documents produced.
Please provide answers to each question, supporting workpapers that provide detail or are
the source of information used in calculations. The Company is reminded that responses
pursuant to Commission Rules of Procedure must include the name and phone number of the
person preparing the document, and the name, location and phone number of the record holder
and if different the witness who can sponsor the answer at hearing if need be. Reference IDAP A
31.01.01.228.
In addition to the written copies provided as response to the questions, please provide all
Excel and electronic files on CD with formulas activated.
REQUEST NO. 194: Please describe the 2007 budget carry forward to 2008 identified
in Avista's response to Production Request No. 70. Please include within your response which
projects were dropped and if they were abandoned (money is now available for new projects) or
whether projects were simply moved from 2007 to 2008 expected dates in service. Please
include within your response the pattern of budget car forwards from 2004 to date.
REQUEST NO. 195: Please provide weather normalized Idaho retail sales in Mwhs for
the year 2007 by month and forecasted normalized retail sales in Mwhs for 2008 by month.
REQUEST NO. 196: Using normalized loads for 2007 and normalized forecasted loads
for 2008, please provide PCA Authorized Power Supply Expense by account for each month for
the years 2007 and 2008. Please exclude any rate mitigation adjustment.
REQUEST NO. 197: Please provide Company proposed PCA Authorized Power
Supply Expense by account for each month assuming no rate mitigation adjustment.
