TRANSMISSION SERVICE LLC - MCM- T -03-
On January 8, 1998, MCImetro Access Transmission Services, Inc. (MCImetro ATS
Inc.) was issued Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 337 to provide local
services in parts of the State ofldaho.
MCI Metro ATS Inc is a wholly-owned subsidiary ofMCI WorldCom Network Services
Inc. It was transformed from a corporation into a limited liability company, and changed its
name to MCImetro Access Transmission Services, LLC. There are no changes to management
operations or the costs and types of services offered to the public as a result of this corporate
structure revision. MCI has filed a revised price list reflecting this name change and requested
that its certificate be changed.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the name holder of Certificate No. 337 be changed to MCImetro
Access Transmission Service LLC. Does the Commission agree?
