system". Please provide the following:

Further to the Company’s response to IPUC Data Request 6 dated April 5, 2023, the Company has since determined that the information provided in the accompanying confidential attachment can be provided as non-confidential
information. The Company therefore provides this 1st Revised response to subpart

IPUC Data Request 10 Please explain all potential funding sources the Company has considered and pursued to finance B2H by answering the following:

(a) Has the Company pursued available Federal funds for grid resilience and transmission? If not, why not? If yes, please describe the funds available, status of funding pursued, and how these funds potentially reduce impact to
ratepayers;
(b) Has the Company pursued available State funds through the Office of Energy and Mineral Resources (OEMR)? If not, why not? If yes, please describe the funds available, status of funding pursued, and how these funds potentially reduce impact to ratepayers;

(c) Has the Company pursued funds through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Office of Emergency Management (OEM)? If not, why not? If yes, please describe the funds available, status of funding pursued,
and how these funds potentially reduce impact to ratepayers;
(d) Has the Company applied for any grants or other funding for the project? If so, what were the sources, amounts, and application dates; and (e) Has the Company been awarded any grants or other funding for the project? If

1st Supplemental Response to IPUC Data Request 10
Further to the Company’s response to IPUC Data Request 10 dated April 5, 2023,
the Company provides the following additional information responsive to subparts (a) through (c): (a) As stated in the Company’s original response to subpart (a), PacifiCorp has not applied for, nor received, any outside funding for the Boardman-to-
Hemingway (B2H) transmission project. Typically, the United States (U.S.)
Department of Energy’s (DOE) core rationale for providing federal funding is to stimulate investments in projects that would have otherwise not been implemented without federal grants. The B2H transmission project is a publicly known project with stakeholder support – an indication DOE may
interpret as a project that will most likely proceed without federal funding. Further, transmission related funding opportunities typically focus on projects with undersubscribed utilization. B2H is expected to be fully utilized upon commissioning of the system.

(b) As a further clarification of the Company’s original response to subpart (b), PacifiCorp is not aware of any currently available state funds applicable to the B2H transmission project through the Office of Energy and Mineral Resources (OEMR).

(c) As a further clarification of the Company’s original response to subpart (c), PacifiCorp has not identified any currently available state funds applicable to the B2H transmission project through the Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA) or the Office of Emergency Management (OEM).
