Please explain why there is no expected energy delivery for ttre month of May in
the Initial Energy Delivery Schedule.
Response to IPUC Data Request 3
Per Larry Oja, the qualifying facility (QF) generator owner, the month of May is
the month he expects that there is insufficient water flow to run the generator to
produce output. Diversion of water to run the generator is allowed only if a
minimum flow of 3.5 cubic feet per second and 48day seasonal measured
graduated flushing flow is met. If the required flushing flow amounts cannot be
met diverting water for power production is not allowed for the QF. Therefore,
the month of May has very little, if any, power production thus, Mr. Oja had
projected zero expected energy delivery for that month.
