The Company proposes that "the time of use definitions for Schedule 36 be
changed to those used for Schedule 9." Meredith Direct at 13. The Company also
explains that the new on-peak period "befier reflects times when it is more costly
for the Company to serve." Meredith Direct at 14. Please provide details of any
other "on-peak" definitions used by the Company in other programs (such as
Demand Response).
Response to IPUC Data Request 1
Other than the Company's Schedule 36 (Optional Time-of-Day Residential
Service), the Company offers Schedule 35 (Optional Time+f-Day General
Service Disnibution Voltage) for non-residential customers. The on-peak time
period for Schedule 35 is 7am to 10pm, excluding weekends and holidays. The
Company also has an irrigation load control program, which is limited to
intemrptions between 2pm and 9pm during weekdays from June I through
August 15.

Please refer to Confidential Attachment IPUC 3-l which provides data from the
Company's 2021 Residential Email Survey that was used to prepare Table 3 and
Table 4 in ttre direct testimony of Company witness, Robert M. Meredith. Please
refer to Confidential Attachment IPUC 3-2 which provides the actual questions
that were asked of survey participants, along with the codes that are necessary to
understand how participants responded to questions that contained specific, pre-
defined multiple-choice options. Note: Question 37 in the survey asked
participants for their household income.
