Please provide a schedule showing the amount of energy imbalance market (EIIO
benefits, on a system and Idaho basis, the Company has received per year since
the Company joined the EIM. In the response, please include the total benefits to
all participants in the EIM for each year.
Response to IPUC Data Request 1
The Califomia Independent System Operator (CAISO) publishes balancing
authority area @AA) specific energy imbalance market (EIM) benefits reports on
a quarterly basis. These quarterly reports, as well as other information regarding
CAISO EIM benefrts, are publicly available and can be accessed by utilizing the
following CAISO website link:

EIM benefits are allocated on the system generation (SG) allocation factor. As
provided in the direct testimony of Company witness, Justin B. Far, specifically
Exhibit 4 (Idaho -Exhibit 4c), line 37,the Idaho SG allocation factor from Case
PAC-E-I5-09 is 6.0136 percent.

Please provide supporting documentation for the ID REP QF Adjustment as
referenced on page I I of Jack Painter's Direct Testimony. In the response, please
include the calculation for the reasonable energy price, the costs for the QF
projects, and the case numbers approving those contracts.
Response to IPUC Data Request 4
Please refer to Confidential Attachment IPUC 4 which provides the calculation
and costs of reasonable energy price (REP) qualiffing facility (QF) adjustments
relevant to this 2022 energy cost adjustment mechanism (ECAM) proceeding for
calendar year 2021.
There are three Idaho QF powerpurchase agreements (PPA) which were
approved by the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC). These QF PPAs are:
o CDM Hydro (Case PAC-E-20-10)o Commercial Energy Management (Case PAC-E-21-05; pending)o Nicholson Sunnybar Ranch (Case PAC-E-20-I7,and PAC-E-21-10; pending)
Confidential information is provided subject to protection under IDAPA
