IPUC Data Request I
Order No. 2 l0 I 8 in Case No. U- I 009- I 74 approved an increase of nameplate
capacity from 450 kW to 600 kW but required the use of a two-part rate structure:
the first 450-kilowatt (kW) of nameplate capacity uses avoided cost rates
established in OrderNo. 16048 and the remaining 150-kW uses avoided cost rates
established in Order No .20637 .
(a) The Application states that the Facility has a 450-kW nameplate capacity
rating. Please confirm if this is correct or whether the actual nameplate
capacity installed is 600 kW.
(b) Please provide a list of all nameplate capacity changes and the dates of the
changes for the history of the Facility.
(c) Please confirm that the QF has been and is being paid using the two-part rate
structure per Order No. 21 0l 8.
Response to IPUC Data Request I
(a) The actualnameplate capacity of the Facility's generator is 650 kilowatts
(kW). As indicated and approved in OrderNo. 21018 in Case No. U-I009-
l74,the contracted capacity of the Facility was increased from 450 kW to 600
kW. The Company discovered the discrepancy between the 600 kW
confacted capacity and the actual 650 kW nameplate capacity of the
generator while negotiating the one-year extension to the power purchase
agreement and the upcoming renewal power purchase agreement. The new,
replacement transmission interconnection agreement and the new,
replacement PPA will accurately reflect the nameplate capacity of the Facility
at 650 kW.
(b) The confracted capacity was increased from 450 kW to 600 kW under a
memorandum of the parties dated September 16, 1986, around the time the
Facility was placed in service. There have been no changes to the contracted
capacity or, to the Company's knowledge, the generator nameplate capacity
since the Facility was originally placed into service.
(c) Based on the Company billing history for the Facility there has been no need
for the Company to apply the two-part pricing approved in OrderNo. 21018
to the output of the Facility, because the Facility has not generated above 450
kw.

IPUC Data Request 2
IPUC Data Request 2
The Application states that the likelihood that the Facility, under average design
conditions, will generate at no more than 2.5 a MW in any calendar month, and
that the Facility's estimated net output over the one-year extended term is 2,087
MWh. If these numbers are not based on the installed nameplate capacity, please
update these numbers.
Response to IPUC Data Request 2
The average design estimate referenced in the Application is based on the
contacted capaclty of 600 kilowatts (kW). The estimated net output of 2,087
megawatt-hours (MWh) is based on the average of 2018 and 2019 annual output
recorded from the Facility.

IPUC Data Request 3
Page 2 of the Unopposed Motion to Lift Stay states that "the transmission
upgrades necessary for a long-tenn power purchase agreement will not be
completed until May 2022.T\e existing confract must be extended so thatAmy
Family Holdings can maintain its current interconnection rights until the
transmission upgrades are complete".
(a) Which specific transmission upgrades are needed in this case?
(b) Why will the transmission upgrades will not be completed until May 2022?
Response to IPUC Data Request 3
(a) PaciftCorp will develop relay settings that will be input into the Facility's
recloser to ensure the Facility is tripped off-line for certain contingencies on
PacifiCorp's system. PacifiCorp also will coordinate implementation, testing,
and commissioning of this functionality.
(b) On September 15,2021, the Interconnection Agreement for a Small
QualiSing Facility was executed by the parties. PacifiCorp determined, based
on current project workload for its engineering stafi that it would be able to
complete the development of the required relay settings by April 15,2022.
Coordination on implementation, testing, and commissioning is anticipated to
take four to five weeks until all work is complete.
