IPUC Data Request 8 The table below shows the Henry Hub natural gas price forecasts the Company provided in the annual natural gas and load update filings in 2019 and 2020. What
are the sources of data used to derive the natural gas forecast for years 2021,
2022, and 2023 for both the 2019 and the 2020 forecast? Please provide the actual data that was used to derive the forecasts for each forecast and for each of those years.

Response to IPUC Data Request 8 In the table provided by the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (IPUC) staff, the Company interprets the first column “2020 Forecast” to be the Company’s natural
gas official forward price curve (OFPC) utilized in this proceeding, Case PAC-E-20-16, which is the September 2020 OFPC. The Company likewise interprets the second column “2019 Forecast” to be the Company’s natural gas OFPC utilized in

Case PAC-E-19-16, which was the September 2019 OFPC. Based on the foregoing interpretations, the Company responds as follows: Please refer to Attachment IPUC 8. For a description of how PacifiCorp’s OFPC
is developed, please refer to the Company’s response to IPUC Data Request 6.
