Response to DPU Data Request 3.1 Values provided in Exhibit RMP CAT-2 are not comparable to values in the 2019 Demolition Study. Exhibit RMP CAT-2 was prepared from an assessment of three facilities and interpolated to the remaining facilities. The 2019 Demolition Study assessed each generating facility individually. Exhibit RMP CAT-2 was prepared from an AACE Class 5 study. The 2019 Demolition Study was an AACE Class 3 study. Exhibit RMP CAT-2 was prepared with a focus on common plant facilities and limited individual units. The 2019 Demolition Study focused on individual units as well as all common plant facilities inside and outside the plant perimeter. The net cost of asset retirement obligations (ARO) increased during the time between the two studies. Site reclamation, owner’s cost and contractor indirects were not included in the study from which the Exhibit RMP CAT-2 was prepared. Please refer to Attachment DPU 3.1 which provides an updated version of Exhibit RMP CAT-2.
