If yes, please provide data references and calculations of decommissioning cost in your response. For purposes of this question, a contingency factor is a reserve that the cost estimator makes to cover unforeseeable expenses the project may incur. These expenses may result from unpredictable conditions or uncertainties within the project of demolition of plant. Response to OPUC Data Request 7 Plant decommissioning costs include contingency factors for coal and natural gas fueled generating facilities. The approach to contingency allocation is described in the studies provided in Attachment OPUC 6-2 1st Supplemental. Contingency calculations are shown in the applicable tables of the studies. No other contingency factors were applied. Decommissioning cost estimates for geothermal plants do not include specific contingency factors as defined in the question above. Despite PacifiCorp's diligent efforts, certain information protected from disclosure by the attorney-client privilege or other applicable privileges or law may have been included in its responses to these data requests. PacifiCorp did not intend to waive any applicable privileges or rights by the inadvertent disclosure of protected information, and PacifiCorp reserves its right to request the return or destruction of any privileged or protected materials that may have been inadvertently disclosed. Please inform PacifiCorp immediately if you become aware of any inadvertently disclosed information.
