PacifiCorp Idaho Industrial Customers ("PIIC"),by and through its attorney of record
Ronald L.Williams and pursuant to the Rules of Procedure of the Idaho Public Utilities
Commission ("Commission"),hereby requests that Rocky Mountain Power ("RMP")provide the
followingdocuments and information as soon as possible,and no later than February 7 2018.
PIIC recognizes that the response time requested is 16 days,not the full 21 days,as
provided by Rule.Justification for this requested shortening of time is:(1)to give PIIC
sufficient time to analyze the response and prepare and file testimony on February 16,2018,and
(2)the below requests ask for missing but critical workpapers that PIIC believed it asked for in
its second production request,but which were not provided by the Company in its response.
This Production Request is continuing,and RMP is requested to provide,by way of
supplementary responses,additional documents that it or any person acting on its behalf may
later obtain that will augment the documents produced.
Please provide answers to each question,and supporting work papers that provide detail
or are the source of information used in calculations.RMP is reminded that responses pursuant to
PIIC THIRD PRODUCTIONREQUEST TO ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER Page 1
Commission Rules of Procedure must include the name and phone number of the person
preparing the document,and the name,location and phone number of the record holder and if
different the witness who can sponsor the answer at hearing if need be.IDAPA 31.01.01.228.
In addition to the written copies provided as response to the questions,please provide all
Excel and electronic files on CD with formulas activated.
REQUEST NO.19.Reference the Jan 16th 2018 Supplemental Direct Testimony
workpaper of Mr.Link titled:"\Transmission Project\Gateway_IRP Data 21%US Tax
(VL).xlsx":
a.Please explain why the formulas in this workpaper have been replaced with a link to the
following file:"Energy Gateway GM 2017 03 13 21%US Tax.xlsm."
b.Please provide a copy of Excel the file "Energy Gateway GM 2017 03 13 21%US
Tax.xlsm,"identified in the referenced workpaper.
c.Please explain why the annual revenue requirement computations for the Transmission
Projects,which were included in the Transmission Project workpapers accompanying the
Company's Direct Testimony,havebeen excluded from the referenced workpaper.
d.Please provide all of the revenue requirement computations,which were used in the
referencedworkpaper to develop annualrevenue requirements for the Transmission
Projects.Please provide these computations in a manner substantially similar what was
provided in Direct Testimony (e.g.the "Generic Model"in the file titled "Energy
Gateway GM 2017 03 13 w Bonus.xlsm").
e.In the revenue requirement computations provided in response to sub-request"d."of this
request,please identify each change that was made to the revenue requirement
computations to incorporate the provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act,relative to the
workpapers used in the Company's Direct Testimony.

In the revenue requirement computations provided in response to sub-request "d."of this
request,please identify any other changes made that were unrelatedto the Tax Cuts and Jobs
Act,relative to the workpapers used in the Company's Direct Testimony.
REQUEST NO.20.Please provide the Excel financial models that were used to
calculate the nominal and levelized revenue requirements for each of the Wind Projects
identified in Table ISD of the Supplemental Direct and Rebuttal Testimony of Rick T.
Link.Please provide these workpapers in a format substantially similar to the workpapers
included in the folder "/Wind Projects"in the Company's Direct Testimony (e.g."TB Flats I
250 RFPBM V l3G_EPC_03312017-30YR-GW4_FINAL.xlsx").
