The Staff of the Idaho Public Utilities Commission requests that Rocky Mountain Power
provide the followingdocuments and information as soon as possible,but no later than
WEDNESDAY,SEPTEMBER 27,2017.
This Production Request is to be considered continuing,and Rocky Mountain Power is
requested to provide,by way of supplementary responses,additional documents that it or any
person acting on its behalf may later obtain that will augment the documents or information
produced.
Please provide answers to each question,supporting workpapers that provide detail or are
the source of information used in calculations,and the name,job title and telephone number of
the person preparing the documents.Please identifythe name,job title,location and telephone
number of the record holder.

Excel and electronic files on CD with formulas activated.
REQUESTNO.49:Please compare in detail the Naughton plant's contribution to
PacifiCorp's system,with and without the Company's proposed project throughoutthe defined
remaining life.Further,please provide the followingfor each plant unit from 2017 to the plant
end of life:
1.Total Variable Costs ($)-(i.e.fuel,start-up,CO2,operation and maintenance,...)
2.Total Fixed Costs ($)-(fixed operation and maintenance,depreciation,...)
3.Net Generation (MWh)
4.Capacity Factor (%)
5.Cost per mega-watt hour ($/MWh)based on Total Variable Cost
6.Cost per mega-watt hour ($/MWh)based on Total Variable and Fixed Cost
REQUESTNO.50:In the context of Production Request No.49,did the Company
evaluate an earlier closure of the Naughton units based on implementation of this project?If so,
please provide any analysis.If not,does the Company believe this should be evaluated?Please
explain.

PacifiCorp's system with and without the Company's proposed project throughoutthe defined
