Please note that at this time, the department is not anticipating the need for any additional permits for the actual installation of the new components. However,we believe there will be some special inspections necessary to verify that the new components are installed according to manufacturer's requirements. If you are contracting to have these inspections performed,we would appreciate getting a copy of the results for our records. If you are not having these done, please let us know,so we can arrange for them. This would require that inspection fees be calculated and imposed. On a related issue, there needs to be some notification to the Columbia County Public Works Department regarding transportation of the components into and out of the county.Routes, times and dates (if possible)would be appreciated. Please forward a copy of this informationto our office. Please keep us advised of any further modifications to the project. Sincerely, Gregory F.Abramson,CFM Senior Planner/Building Inspector
