IPUC Data Request I
IPUC Data Request 1
Please explain why retail customers who received service between October 1,
2012 through September 30,2013,but are no longer customers as of February 1,
2014,will not receive the onetime credit refund.
Response to IPUC Data Request I
Crediting a customer’s account not currently served by the Company generates a
statement that is often undeliverable and eventually may be escheated. Not
crediting closed accounts provides a slightly larger credit to those customers
currently served by the Company.

IPUC Data Request 4
If all retail customers who received service between October 1,2012 through
September 30,2013 (regardless of whether they are current customers),were
issued a credit, approximately what amount would each customer get?
Response to IPUC Data Request 4
If all retail customers who received service between October 1,2012 through
September 30,2013 (regardless of whether they are current customers)were
issued a credit, the credit rate would be reduced to 34.9 percent from the proposed
37.0 percent and each residential customer would get approximately $7.85.
Please refer to Attachment IPUC 4 for the estimation.

The Company was able to identify that 7,277 of the 15,632 customers identified

IPUC Data Request 6
IPUC Data Request 6
Please explain why the Company requests to issue a new Electric Service
Schedule 95 rather than issue credits backed by a Commission Order.
Response to IPUC Data Request 6
The Company requested creating a new Electric Service so the credit would be
separate from the ongoing DSM Schedule 191 and only apply to current
customers. However the Company is indifferent if the preference is to issue the
credit by Commission Order rather than creating a new Electric Service Schedule.
