At, page 20, lies 9-11, Mr. Clements states that a combustion tubine is available
to customers for their benefit 8,410 hour year assumg a 96% availabilty.
Pleas provide the followig inormtion:
a. Does the Company nomite gas on a daily basis for each day of
the year for its combustion tubines?
b. How many days of the yea would the Company have to nomite
gas for a combustion tubine in order for it to be available for
8,410 hours?
c. What costs would the Company incur to nomiate natual gas for a
combustion tubine for a day? Please explai.
d. Would the Company be responsible for any costs to nomiate
natual gas for a combustion tubine for a day even if the
combustion tubine did not operate on that day? Please explain.
e. Can a combuston tubine operate and serve load on a day in which
the Company has not nominated natual gas for the tubine?

Response to Monsanto Data Request 17.19
a. No, the Company nomiates gas to combusion tubines on a daly basis for
each day that a combustion tubine is available and economic.
b. The Company would nominate gas for between 350 and 366 days in order to
have ful supply available for 8,410 hours of generation from a combustion
tubine.
c. There ar no costs associated with nomitin natual gas. There are costs
associated with the procurement and tranporttion of natu gas. The costs
var based on relevant market pnces for natu gas and trsporttion costs
associated with the delivery of natual gas.
d. Agai there are no costs associated with the nomition of natu gas.
Costs associate withthe procurement and delivery of natual gas are only
parially dependent on the operation of a combustion tubine. Ths parial
dependency vares based on biling practices of the relevant pipeline.
e. Yes, subject to relevant pipeline operationa, contractul, and cost constraits
and provisions.
