Interconnection? Do the curent 74 wid generators use the total capacity of this
trsmission facility?
Response to IPUC Production Data Request 322
The Dunap I interconnection to PacifiCorp's network transmission system is via
the Shirley Basin Substation. PacifiCorp's transmission fuction commssioned
constrction of the Shirley Basin substation in conformance with all applicable
Federal Energy Reguatory Commission (FERC) requiements, includig FERC
large generator interconnection agreement (LGIA) requiements and FERC open
access transmission taff (OATT) requirements. PacifiCorp's transmission
fuction determed the specifications associated with the Shiley Basin
substation consistent with other like interconnection facilties located on
PacifiCorp's network transmission system. In so doing, the Shiley Basin
substation specifications were determned by tang into account the Dunap I
LGIA, other then-curent LGIA applications as well as reasonably expected futue
LGIA applications. Consistent with prudent utility practices, the facilties
necessar to interconnect Dunap I to the Shiley Basin substation were designed
to meet or exceed 111 megawatts of demand.
