through its attorneys, hereby submits this Seventh Data Requests to Rocky Mountain
Power Company ("RMPC"), pursuant to Rule 225 of the Idaho Public Utility
Commission's Rules of Procedure, IDAPA 31.01.01, as follows:
103. Regarding the coincident peak and energy "Metered Loads" data listed on the top
of pages 10.13 and 10.14 of the Company's Exhibit 2, is the development of ths data
described between page 7 line 19 and page 8 line 18 of Mr. Eelkema's testimony? If
this is not, or if it is described elsewhere, please explain where?
104. Regarding the development of the coincident peak and energy "Metered Loads"
data listed on the top of pages 10.13 and 10.14 of the Company's Exhibit 2, please
provide a flow-chart that depicts where all of the data comes from and how it is
manipulated in order to produce the data on these pages.
105. On page 7 line 21 of his testimony, Mr. Eelkema states: "After the Company
develops test year monthly energy sales by customer class, test year hourly loads is
developed in two step:". Ifthe "monthly energy sales by customer class" is used in
either this first or second step (see Eelkema page 7 line 23 through page 8 line 14),

please explain the methodology and all calculations used to take this "monthly energy
sales by customer class" and incorporate it into:
a. "(M)onthly and seasonal peaks for each state" (See Eelkema page 7 line 23);
b. "The monthly peak model uses historic peak-producing weather" (See Eelkema
page 7 line 23 through page 8 line 1); and
c. Please provide a detailed example of "a" and "b" above, using July 2010 as an
example.
106. Please explain how the "monthly peak model uses historic peak-producing
weather" (Eelkema page 8 line 1). Please provide In Excel format all background
data used and all calculations used to derive each monthly peak for each jursdiction.
Please site the source of this data.
107. Please explain how the Company "incorporates the impact of weather on peak
loads through several weather variables which drive heating and cooling usage."
(Eelkema page 8 lines 2-3). Please provide in Excel format all background data
used and all calculations used to derive each monthly peak for each jursdiction.

108. Please provide in Excel format a copy of the "state-specific hourly load data and
daily weather variables" used to develop "hourly loads for each state from hourly
load models". (See Eelkema page 8 lines 7-8) Please site the source ofthis data.
109. Please provide copies of each "hourly load model" for each state. (See Eelkema
page 8 line 8)
110. Please provide in Excel format a copy of the "hourly loads" that are developed
using 21-year average temperatures, typical weather patterns, and day-type varables.

111. Please provide in Excel format a copy of the "calibrations" used to match monthly
and seasonal peaks from the first step. (See Eelkema page 8 lines 11-12)
112. Please provide in Excel format a copy of the "calibrations" used to match the
hourly loads to the monthly sales plus line losses. (See Eelkema page 8 lines 12-14)

second calibration is made to develop the hourly loads (See Eelkema page 8 lines
12-14), that the original calibrated value for the peaks is not changed. Please
